After the fire, we help you come home again
From a kitchen fire to a total loss, we secure the property, clean up soot and odor, and rebuild your home, while keeping you and your insurer informed every step of the way.

Fire damage goes far beyond what burned
Even a small fire spreads smoke and soot through the whole house: inside walls, through ductwork and into insulation. Then there’s the water used to put it out. A good restoration addresses all three: fire, smoke and water.
We’re there right after the fire department releases the property to secure it, and we stay with you through cleaning, demolition, the claim and the rebuild.
What’s included
- Emergency board-up, roof tarping and site security fencing
- Water extraction and drying from firefighting efforts
- Soot removal and cleaning of salvageable surfaces
- Odor control, including sealing of framing and air-scrubbing
- Coordination of HVAC duct cleaning or replacement
- Selective demolition and structural framing repairs
- Complete rebuild, including electrical and plumbing coordination and code upgrades
- Room-by-room documentation for your claim
Fire damage we restore
- Kitchen fires: the most common house fire, often with heavy grease-smoke residue throughout the home
- Electrical fires: wall and attic fires that require careful demolition and rewiring
- Garage and exterior fires: structural, siding and roof damage
- Major fires and total losses: partial or complete rebuilds, permitted from the ground up
Don’t try to clean soot yourself
Wiping soot can smear it permanently into surfaces, and residue can be acidic and irritating. Avoid turning on HVAC systems until they’ve been inspected. Take photos, remove valuables if it’s safe, and let a restoration crew handle cleanup.
How much does fire damage restoration cost?
Smoke cleanup after a small kitchen fire may cost several thousand dollars, while major fires often run $50,000 to $150,000 or more. Most fire damage is covered by homeowners insurance. You’ll get a detailed written estimate to support your claim. See our pricing page for typical ranges.
Fire restoration FAQs
Can I stay in my home after a small fire?
It depends on smoke spread, utilities and air quality. Many homeowners policies include additional living expenses (ALE) to cover temporary housing while your home is restored, so ask your insurer.
Will the smoke smell ever go away?
Yes, when it’s treated at the source. Lingering odor usually comes from residue in framing, insulation or ductwork. We remove affected materials, clean and seal what remains, and use air-scrubbing to fully remove odor rather than masking it.
Do I need permits to rebuild after a fire?
Usually, yes, especially for structural, electrical and plumbing work. Rebuilds also often trigger code upgrades. We handle permits and inspections and include code-upgrade items in the estimate.
