Roofs built for Texas heat and Gulf Coast weather

Roof replacements, repairs and upgrades with the parts most roofers rush (decking, flashing and ventilation) done right, so your roof lasts as long as it should.

Roofer installing new architectural shingles

A roof is a system, not just shingles

Shingles are only the part you see. Underneath are decking, underlayment, drip edge, flashing, vents and the attic ventilation that keeps heat from cooking the roof from below. When any one of those is skipped, the roof fails early.

We inspect the whole system, replace damaged decking, flash every wall and penetration properly and balance attic ventilation, then install shingles or metal to the manufacturer’s specifications.

What’s included

  • Free inspection with photos of every slope
  • Written, line-item proposal with material options
  • Tear-off down to the decking and replacement of damaged wood
  • Synthetic underlayment and ice-and-water shield in valleys
  • New drip edge, flashing, pipe boots and vents
  • Attic ventilation balanced for Houston heat
  • Magnetic nail sweep and full cleanup
  • Manufacturer material warranties registered for you

Roofing options

  • Architectural shingles: the most popular choice, with impact-resistant options
  • Standing-seam metal: long-lasting and energy-efficient
  • Roof repairs: leaks, flashing, missing shingles and pipe boots
  • Ventilation upgrades: ridge vents and soffit intake to cool the attic
  • Gutters: seamless gutters and downspouts installed with the roof

Cooler attic, longer-lasting roof

Poor ventilation can shorten shingle life and drive up cooling bills. We check intake and exhaust on every job and correct it as part of the replacement.

How much does a new roof cost?

Most shingle roof replacements on Greater Houston homes run $12,000 to $30,000 depending on size, pitch and material. Metal roofs typically cost more upfront but last longer. See our pricing page for how we build estimates.

Roofing FAQs

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes are completed in one to three days, weather permitting.

Should I repair or replace my roof?

If damage is limited and the roof has plenty of life left, a repair makes sense. If it’s near the end of its life or problems are widespread, replacement is usually the better value. We’ll show you photos and give you an honest recommendation.

Do you install impact-resistant shingles?

Yes. Class 4 impact-resistant shingles hold up better to hail and wind and are a popular upgrade in the Houston area.
